Merri Brook, established in the realm of portrait and figure painting, resides within the vibrant artistic hub of Palm Springs, California. Currently, she is undertaking an ambitious project of crafting a series of 12 paintings christened "Love has no Boundaries." These abstract figure works capture a piece of her past: her time as a Playboy Bunny in the late sixties and early seventies. The dramatic series showcases a psychedelic neon palette.
Out of the studio, Merri finds peace and inspiration horseback riding through the Indian Canyons.

As for her education, Merri Brook is a proud alumna of the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts, and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
She continues to hone her craft by participating in various workshops hosted by esteemed artists such as David Leffell, Betty Carr, Sam Cajian, John Howard Sanden, Cyntia Britton, Diane MacClary, Johnnie Liliedahl, Harvey Silverman, Robert Burridge, among others.
